I would like to know if there is another method to get the lowest latency while playing a youtube live stream than changing the playback speed to 2x and back to 1x or using addons like speedcontrol

when I paste a link from youtube live stream to potplayer or vlc I can't get a lower delay than via the speedcontrol add-on or changing playback speed on the youtube website.

I need a method that will allow me to delay as little as possible without interrupting playback (buffering circle).
