ADDENDUM: I'm still having problems getting a decent software package that'll reduce the size of an MKV. I've tried these 2: VidCom amd FormatFactory. Maybe it's me, but both these programs took nearly 2 hrs. to convert a 53:11 DVD to mp4. I don't think that's proper(?). I used to use AVC, but now they want you to have a paid subscription. I saw the ad for FFMpeg and I know it's a great program, problem is I don't have a Linux O.S. nor am I proficient at coding. So, hoping there's someone here who had and has used a program that is open source and would be one that I could use? Appreciate your response/advice!!!
