SSD speed types in regard to writing 4K lossless RGB video at 60fps

If you're writing that kind of video (like through virtualdub), what matters more to make the process faster: SSD sequential write speed or sustained write speed?

I would think that it's sequential that matters.

If you havent already, look into a NVMe drive. They are cheaper than SSD's and like 10x faster.
