  1. I downloaded a Spider-man avi file but all it will play is a black screen with no audio. What do I need to do? burn, convert, add a codec, or what?

  5. I also have a problem with spider man. The name of the file is as follows: spiderman.vcd.ts-tfe~columbia~(1of2).avi

I have the newest win media player, divx codec and the nimo codec pack.
I believe it is a tmd movie so i looked for the tmd codec as well as the smr and installed those. I have tried an array of Vcd players
Still no luck. I get a black screen and also no sound but the file is 48 min long of blackness. When i click properties the video and audio codec say unknown. If anyone has solved this problem their help would be greatly appreciated!

  6. I got the same thing when I downloaded Spiderman. I tried every thing to view it but it is simply black screen. If Virtual Dub can't make anything out of it, its probably crap. Oh well, at least it wasn't a huge download.

  7. There are lots of hoax spider-man files out there. I donwload the SMR-Spider-man.avi (both files) and it was just crap black and no audio. I have all required patches/codecs. All apps recognize it as 4fps, no audio. It's BUNK.
Don't piss in my ear and tell me it's raining.

  9. I had the same problem, I've tried most of the versions for spiderman from kazaa but they all semm to have something wrong with them or it's another movie. I guess it's better just to go on IRC for very new/popular movies so no one spoofs around.

I have the same file name "spiderman.vcd.ts-tfe~columbia~(1of2).avi". I doesn't work for me either (same black screen). Delete these files so it won't be uploaded in your p2p programs.

  13. You want to find the files named:

    [TMD]Spiderman.Excellent.Cam.(1of2).avi

    and

    [TMD]Spiderman.Excellent.Cam.(2of2).avi

They are typical video captures but the quality is reasonable. You should really see it in the theater though because the effects are outstanding. I can't wait for it come out on DVD.

  16. I've got all the centropy files (1-3) but I can only play about 2 seconds of CD3...the rest play fine.

    File size is 721Mb...anyone verify??

  17. I've noticed there are VCD image files floating around. They say you need the .cue and .bin files then tell your burning software to burn from an image. I haven't tried it yet but IsoBuster may help if they are really the movie.
