Latest Premiere Pro version does not use GPU anymore?

Hello everyone,

I recently updated to the latest Premiere Pro version 12.1.1 but ever since I did that Premiere only uses the CPU to render.
12.0 did use around 60% of my CPU and some % of the GPU but after the update 0% GPU and 100% CPU.

While this is not a problem by itself, the rendering got a bit slower tho.
When exporting the encoding option only gives me "Only software" and I can't change that. Hovering over that options says that no supported hardware was detected for hardware encoding.

My system:
Win10
Intel i7-8700k
GTX 1080
ASRock Extreme4
16GB DDR4 RAM

Is there a way to enable GPU assisted rendering again?

(I won't downgrade to 12.0 because 12.1 adds support for vfr and I really want that)

And here is the solution that was posted:

Mercury Playback Engine with GPU Acceleration is separate from Hardware-accelerated H.264 encoding.
Hardware-accelerated H.264 encoding (new feature in Premiere Pro 12.1) requires a CPU that supports Intel Quick Sync.
Moreover, Intel Graphics needs to be enabled on your PC (some manufacturers may choose to disable Intel Graphics).

Hmm, that's strange because before I updated to 12.1 the encoding was hardware accelerated and I didn't change any hardware.
