  1. Hi there I am a complete newbie, I was trying to make a vcd of some
    mpeg files on my pc.

I added them ok, then clicked "Go", and it created the image ok, but then
    I got an error:

"Error No Driver found for "IDE-CDR/RW (Try to use Force Driver in the
    CDRDAO settings page)

What does it mean I have no driver, I burn cds all the time.

I went to System on my pc, and looked at my cdr driver section, and sure enough it says "No driver have been loaded or are required for this device"

I did a search for a better driver, and it finished and said the best one was already loaded, its location is:

    C:\WINDOWS\INF\MSCDROM.INF

Can anyone help me? Where can I get drivers from?

Also on a different note, what is ASPI? And why "does it not seem valid" on my pc (from VCDEASY)
    Many thanks!!

check the guides on the left...
open nero or whatever you use, and burn image--load the .cue file.
    that's it.

  7. The CUE/BIN image is the combination of both the CUE file and the BIN file.

The BIN file contains the data, while the CUE file tells the burning proggy how the data in the BIN file is organised.

To load/burn a CUE/BIN image, you will have to use a program that recognises the format and load the CUE file.

    http://www.vcdimager.org/guides/burning_cuebin_images.html

You can't use the included CDRDAO burning proggy with VCD Easy because you don't have an ASPI layer installed. You can install this by downloading "ForceASPI" from http://www.doom9.net It will probably work after that.

You cannot burn CUE/BIN images with CloneCD or DirectCD.
