    I tried converting a DIVX avi file to VCD mpg file, and I followed all the instructions written in this site, but when I try to play the new mpg file, the picture disappears just before the middle of the movie, and I get left with sound only.. Weird..
    Help anyone?

    Try using VirtualDub to frameserve the movie into TMPGEnc (or any other encoder).
