Newbie question from someone who has only just started putting my DVD's onto a media server so apologies if the question seems stupid - The BD Magic hype says that the software extracts subtitles from the DVD during ripping - I have 4 German War movies that I play with English subtitles - when I rip the DVD and select English in the subtitles drop-down menu nothing seems to happen. I have tried with both "forced" box checked and unchecked with no apparent difference. eg No subtitles on playback via VLC media player. In desperation I also tried with Bytecopy - still no Joy
Am I misunderstanding what the software should do or am I doing something wrong or not doing something I should ? I guess it probably is something I am doing wrong so any help would be greatly appreciated
