Hi.
I have some footage from a DJI P4P drone, which is native 4K. I authored this footage using Adobe Premiere CC 2017. I used the following settings (as close as possible zo native footage):
H.264, 4096x2160 (1.0), 50 fps, progressive
AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo
MP4 container
The encoded clip plays properly on my computer with VLC.
However it doesn't on Samsung UE50JU6850 (specs say it should).
Any ideas?
Thanks,

alot of devices will oly play 4k in the x265 (hevc) container i had this issue and re-encoded and then worked perfect

The manual says with H.264 and 4096X2160 max fps is 24. As hdfills said HEVC should work at 4096X2160 with up to 60 fps (Main, Main10,
Main4:2:2 10 profiles, max 80 Mbps) -
Thanks a lot for the answers.
I kept on sticking to the .mp4 container.
- H264 50fps won't play
- H264 25fps plays fine
- H265 50fps plays as well
I wasn't aware (and not found in the Samsung TV specs) that H264 50fps didn't work.
Thanks for the help.
