  1. Hello all, and thanks for taking the time to read my little thread :)

I am relatively new to the whole VCD scene, and still have some newbie questions that I can't find answers for by browsing forums (slowly, a la dial-up) and the guides.

Basically, I am wondering if it is possible to add chapters to my VCDs using NERO as my burning program. I am unsure what version I have, but it is the newest one out, just finished installing the patch.

I was looking at a guide by Sefy, and it tells you how to add chapters by getting the info using ChapterXtractor and then burning using VCDEasy coupled with CDRDao. The problem is, I only have Nero, and the only copies to download of CDRDao were for Linux, where I am on Windows ME.

So I know of that method, but am unable to use it due to the fact I can't find CDRDao. Any input is appreciated :)

  2. VCDEasy comes with cdrdao (get the full installation). You can burn within VCDEasy or just create the image and then burn in Nero. If you decide to go with VCDEasy and have problems with the ASPI drivers (as I did), be sure to read the FAQs that are installed with the program.

  3. Just to add/change what gonz0 mentioned, get ASPI 4.6 (not 4.7) to make CDRDao work, and I would not recommand using Nero to burn, alot of people report problems with movies not playing back after.

  4. Any idea where I can get ahold of a copy of the 4.60 drivers ? I have 4.7 installed on my system, and my searches are only resulting in 4.7 :(

  5. Check the Classical Guide links at the top, it has a link to the ASPI 4.6
