Hi there:
I am having a problem converting MKVs into MP4. My preferred software for conversion is iSkySoft Video Converter Version 1.9.3.1 and my preferred software for viewing is Quicktime Player 10.4. I m using a Mac with El Capitan 10.11.5.
Whenever I do conversion, I have an additional weird dotted line in my video, as seen in he image below:
Here are some screenshots from my computer to help you with this:
I can deal with the dotted line, but the video won't play back. I can hear the sound but the video stays black.
Now there are three other pieces to the puzzle:
1. I just attempted to upload it to you-tube to share on here and when I played it back on youtube, it played back perfect.
2. When I convert it with a different converter, using Wondershare Video Converter, it converts and plays back just fine.
3. There are two vertical ticks on the dotted line. If I move them, quicktime asks me if I want to save the file before closing, as if I am modifying he file.
Can anyone shed some light onto this for me please?
