    I'm converting my dvds to mkv to stream through PLEX, however I have noticed that MakeMKV will not rip any of my discs that are dual layer (Verbatim DVD+R DL). Works fine with all single layered dvds though. Anyone else have this issue. The same dual layered discs rip fine with dvd decrypter as well as dvdfab decrypter.

    can't say i've tried, but just copy them to your hard drive first, then point makemkv to that.

    I got curious and tried to rip one of my Verbatim DL discs. Its about five years old and MakeMKV ripped it perfectly well. There is nothing inherently missing in MakeMKV's decryption and ripping capabilities.
