It is ASS format ? I have only feeling that 3 is the shadow. But You can try Subtitle workshop - output settings and there uncheck shadow under ASS or what subtitles format it is.

  4. I believe this is ass and it can be opened in a text editor and edited if needed

    Code:
    [V4+ Styles]
Format: Name, Fontname, Fontsize, PrimaryColour, SecondaryColour, OutlineColour, BackColour, Bold, Italic, Underline, StrikeOut, ScaleX, ScaleY, Spacing, Angle, BorderStyle, Outline, Shadow, Alignment, MarginL, MarginR, MarginV, Encoding
    Style: Default,Arial Narrow,32,&H00FFFFFF,&H000000FF,&H00000000,&H00000000,0,0,0,0,100,100,0,0,1,2,1,2,10,10,10,1

  6. {\fs20\a2} are ass override tags. It defines the font size to 20 and the justification to center.

    http://docs.aegisub.org/3.2/ASS_Tags/

But perhaps if you uploaded some more and clarified the problem. If it's an ass file you could use Aegisub to do the necessary editing.

  7. yeah i edited my post. i only copied that script years ago because someone told me it gives an opaque box to every line, i assume the 0000,0000,0030,, is the opaque box. that is the extent of my knowledge of ASS subs.
