    ok so basically i want to convert my dts file to ac3 5.1 using megui

    but megui does not have the option for ac3 5.1 channels encode

    or am i doing something wrong

    I'm not familiar with converting audio with megui.
    But you can always use eac3to, with command prompt.
    I usually extract the core DTS from DTS-HD.

    Is this what you were looking for ? also like Ally68 said its better to use eac3to with command prompt if you plan to encode it to ac3/5.1
