    Im not hearing or seeing much difference. The only real difference I read is that NicAudio cant transcode AAC or something like that.

    If I encode the same audio source to AAC-LC, one with NicAudio and one with FFAudioSource, is one going to be any better or different than the other once the output is all finished?

    Is one recommended over the other?

    Yeah same here, I don't really know the difference. Seems like they both do a kind of indexing of the audio, unlike directshow. Would also like any input on BassAudio and LWLibav too if anyone knows.
