how to make a 6.5 or bigger dvd into 2 dvdrs

I'm a newbie at this. I have a 6.5 gig dvd. Even though i took out the extras, it still comes down to around 5.5 gigs or so. So i want to make it into 2 dvdrs with no menus,extrase,etc. Just the video part itself with chapters that i can move from one chapter to the next on my remote. I made a disc image of it. It has .vob files etc. Now what do i do? What programs do i need to go out and purchase? Thanks for the help.
