  1. I have built several mpg files and then I use Photoshop to build one page as the selection page, and then use TMPGenc to make this jpg a short mpg file.

Then I use VCDEasy to create the menu. I don't know whether I have created the menu correctly. However, when I tried to burn anyway, I encounter the following message and the program refused to burn for me.

Anybody with any idea how this error is about, and what I should do to make it work?

Also I found that VCDEasy cannot save my settings, so every time I need to start all over again. Can my project be saved?

  2. I assume you did what it suggested and enabled the "force execution" setting. Otherwise, try one of these options:
    1. Use an MPEG still for your selection page. You create this in the VCDEasy Tools page.
    2. If for some reason your player doesn't support MPEG stills, why not just make your selection page longer than 2 seconds?

And no, VCDEasy doesn't yet have the option to save your project. You can save an .xml file which will have everything you defined for the VCD (chapters, interactivity, etc.), and you can use this to generate the cd image. However, if you need to change anything, you have to edit the xml in a text editor. In your case this may work because the only thing you're probably changing for this example is the selection menu page.
