1.) I have the latest Nero release, but for the life of me, I can't get a Menu to show up when burning VCD's.
The DVD Digest button will only show the same blue screen with options 1. Intro 2. Disc... 3 ? 4. Exit...

I have followed the instructions on vcdhelp.com (for making a Menu with Nero), but this doesn't seem to do the trick... any suggestions ?

I'm using the N5 firmware for Region 1.

    Thanks...

Menus in nero wont work for my vcd's either.

I downloaded vcd imager but i dont see any menu options there, must be alot of reading left to do.

I wish nero would creat compatible menus.

Does anyone else know how to make nero's menus work?
Can we create a menu somehow and then add it to the project??

    Thankx

Also does the "infinite" option for pause after track have anything to do with it?

Menus will work on my AD-1100w by pushing PLAY (instead of MENU).
But I never could get menus to work on the AD-600A.

I sent an email to Apex's Tech Support a while back, and they sent an email back saying that their players do NOT support menus, although this is obviously not entirely true as some work.

I've been making simple menus with Nero for years, and they
work fine with my APEX 600a...I just click the menu tab,
and make the changes i want.

I then load the VCD into the Apex, and press the PLAY button.

I've never had problems at all.

The issue with the menus on the AD-600A may be because of my drive (DSL-600A)... the loader firmware on my ad-600a is known to have issues (LD12). The models made later used a better DVD drive (DSL-710A I believe). Unfortunately, unless I replace my drive, I don't believe I will be able to alleviate the menu issue with my AD-600A. If I could get my current model to work, I would take the steps to do so, so if anyone else has any further ideas, I'm open to suggestions (ideas cheaper than buying another drive that is).

I replaced my DSL-600A drive sometime ago, and now the menus work perfectly. The issue was with the older 600A dvd rom drive.
