Hi guys, just looking for some help!

Skip to 0:16. The "SBTV" logo leaves and the "Warm Up Sessions" appears but what I want to know is how to create a separate file for these that has no background? In Photoshop you'd export a PNG with no background, what settings would you use for video?
I downloaded a pack of video files once that had something similar (a bouncing logo with no background) and just wanted to know what I'd have to do to create the same?
Thanks!

Ideally you would use After Effects or similar. But really this is so simple, any halfway decent video editing software with multiple video tracks will allow you to rotate, resize and do basic manipulations on a .png with transparent background. Create the graphic itself in Photoshop.
Vegas (Movie Studio or Pro)
Premiere (Elements or Pro)
Pinnacle

Edit: Just re-read your post, the above advice is for compositing your element. If you are trying to pre-create the graphic and export it in motion with an alpha channel you are more limited. You need to export to a codec that supports alpha. After Effects will do it, Vegas Movie Studio (and the others) won't as far as I can tell.Last edited by smrpix; 26th Feb 2015 at 07:07.

Render as a PNG image sequence, or any 32 bit codec with transparent alpha selected as a render option..
