broken final video Avidemux

hello.. i try to join files with Avidemux but the final video is broken the first clip is ok but the second(2 video in one) is just broken black white scenes no sound why is what?? ( i testes different files and is the same)

use mediainfo (view=>text) or mediainfoxp post the results

The specs are different (different profile, different number reference frames), and most importantly the frame rate is different . You cannot join 30.0 fps constant frame rate, to 29.97 constant frame rate

You can probably adjust the frame rate and re-encode part 1 to match (it's short, only 6-7 sec) to enable it to join part 2


Those are different from the 1st mediainfo report "op.mp4" in post #5

so how to make the 2 videos to have same specs?? is any converter to copy info or something like this..

There is a program called mis2x264 by selur that can read the mediainfo x264 string of part 2 and generate a commandline that matches. You need to adjust the framerate of part 1 to match as well . But even if you match the settings , and the x264 version sometimes it doesn't join properly

If you re-encode the 1st part, it's actually not necessary to match encoding settings completely . You have to set a different --sps-id number like 2 or 3, and do a binary DOS join on the elementary video stream, and join the audio separately, the mux into a container. This works even when method 1 above fails - but it's not as easy to do

Or join them through a script like avisynth and re-encode the whole thing

Unfortunately none of these methods are "easy" , or for beginners because there are no GUI's - they are all commandline or text driven



Or you can try commercial programs like videoredo, solveigmm video splitter, tmpgenc smart renderer - those have GUI's, easier to use, but aren't free
