After scannig the forum for the past messages, I ask anyone if the correct skelethon of the guide should be this one:
1- rip the DVD, with all the interested languages and subtitles streams (IFO files will help understanding the correspondance language<->sub)
2- If you plan to use TMPGEnc, use DVD2AVI paying attention to convert any interested language.
3- subrip the subtitles. Two problems arises at this point:
a) if having multiple subs, do we have to generate single a single file for any language ? (the doom9 guide does not explain at this point)
b) If having a philips DVD (I do !!:-) consider not to export in the I-Author format (text) , but in the Philips format (BMP). It is not clear if choosign the text format will allow submux to convert anyway it finally to the Philips format
4-Use TMPGEnc to convert the video and 1 audio language.
Help needed how to obtain the second/third mp2 language file, without reencoding the whole video film.
5-Use TMPGEnc tools to demultiplex (separete) the MPG file in an audio and a video stream.
6-use submux to multiplex any single audio stream with is subtitles
7- use bbMPG to multiplex the video with all your audio streams.
Now start your corrections......... :-))))
