I have been trying to install Acid 3.0f on my system (downloaded the demo copy, but have a similar problem with a friend's registered copy). Every time I install it my mpeg-2 playback is way out of synch (about 8 seconds or better). This is when I playback using WMP, PowerDVD, or ATI File Viewer so it must be some sort of codec issue.

As soon as I roll back the Acid install everything is back in perfect synch. Any ideas??

(Running XP pro, Athlon 1.1, 640Mb).

    Thanks.

It install mpeg2 demultiplexer with it. This DS filter provides time stamps on output video and audio streams, and it do not work correctly, so video and audio renderes can't synchronize.
Go to vcdhelp codecs http://www.vcdhelp.com/vcdtools.htm and download one you like. Elecard is the best of course :-)
