    Greetings! I'd like to import/capture video from a number of sources including Hi8, MiniDV, Canon 5D-7D and possible VH-C into my HP laptop, but I don't see MOV file support in the product description. Is this possible? I would think it's such a common file type that all these 'top' software pieces would offer support. If not, can you recommend a similarly priced software that would work well?

    corel editing software is mediocre easy to use consumer ware. pro editing software is programs like premiere pro, sony vegas pro, edius, etc.
