I have the need to have WiFi on my desktop PC.
Any suggestions, preferences for Internal card over External card or vice versa ?
Thank you all again

I have used both an internal 2.4 GHz Wireless N adapter and an external 2.4 GHz Wireless N USB adapter with equal success on a desktop PC. Getting a good signal depends as much on the wireless router/wireless access point and location as on the wireless receiver. I used wireless adapters from Rosewill, which may not be readily available outside N. America.

I´m using USB wifi on 2 Desktop PCs without any problems. And these sticks are pretty cheap.
Just check with a Laptop how much signal you receive at the desktop position before you buy anything for it.
