    Hi
Can Anyone let me know if it is possible to copy a video from "The Times" Online website ?
I tried using RealPlayer Plus but whilst it does copy most things from the internet it won't copy the video on there of a Lou Reed & Mick Rock Talk that I attended.
Is there any way I can do this or is there a program I could buy that will allow me to copy this
    Thank You
    Dave
Ps I'm a complete novice at this so please be gentle with me

    Hi
Download the package rtmpdump-2.4-git-010913-windows.zip from the RTMPDump website.
Unzip it and extract the file rtmpdump.exe.
Put the rtmpdump.exe file somewhere convenient, such as Desktop.
Use the "Command Prompt" (DOS window).

    Enter the command rtmpdump
Make sure you see a result something like this:-

    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop>rtmpdump
    RTMPDump v2.4
    (c) 2010 Andrej Stepanchuk, Howard Chu, The Flvstreamer Team; license: GPL
ERROR: You must specify a hostname
If you see this result, then go ahead and paste in the full RTMPDump command from the pastebin website.

    Hi
I've Unziped it and extracted the file *rtmpdump.exe*.
and Put the rtmpdump.exe file in a folder on my Desktop.
When I open it a little box flashes a micro second then disappears
How do I Use the "Command Prompt" (DOS window).
    Thank you
    Dave

I can't explain to you how to use the "Command Prompt" program.

But here is an alternative method:-
    See my attachment below...
It is a file named "Lou_Reed_and_Mick_Rock.txt".
Download that txt file and put it into your new folder with the rtmpdump.exe file.
Then re-name the txt file, change txt to BAT.
    "Lou_Reed_and_Mick_Rock.BAT"

    Then "double-click" the BAT file.
The little box should then open, and stay open and start downloading the video file.

You know, you can actually search Google, Yahoo, etc. on how to do this instead of acting like a helpless baby.
