I wouldn't put too much hope in this, but you can try to use file recovery tools, like Recuva.
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Back-Up-and-Recovery/Recuva.shtml
It has a pro and portable version. Dunno about the difference and how to use it since I've never used them. -
mohcine, in the future please use a more descriptive subject title in your posts to allow others to search for similar topics. I will change yours this time. From our rules:

And welcome to our forums. -
This (similar) topic has been discussed in a recent thread:

If it has only been formatted then there is a chance of recovery.
If anything has been saved to the card since then you will need forensic type software and expert help to recover it. -
Also it should be very clear that no matter what recovery route you take, you SHOULD NOT WRITE BACK TO THE AFFECTED DRIVE/DISC/CARD!. All saves should go to a completely different storage medium. Often, a particular app might only work on certain files while another might work on other files, if yours is in the 2nd category but you use a 1st type app on it, it could "ruin" the file for the 2nd type were it to write back to the drive.
This should go without saying, but you'd be surprised how many times it is forgotten...

As a free data recovery tool, Recuva works well.
But usually, the video files are very big, it is difficult to recover with some free software.
If the video is very important for you you can test some professional data recovery software, just search with google you may find a lot. Most of them provide you a free preview of your lost files before you pay.
Most important, if you want to recover the lost video with data recovery software, do not overwritten your sd card.
Good luck. -
Data recovery tools are very good at restoring small files of many different formats, by identifying superficial features of the data (header signatures, footer patterns) and assuming that the file is not fragmented.
But this assumption is not true for video files. The only effective technique that can be used to recover fragmented files is called “deep carving”.
Tools implementing this technique are very few, very specialized, more expensive, slower, and are based on probabilistic algorithms specific to the video and audio formats to recover.- Recovery tools achieve good results on small files, but not on videos, due to fragmentation.
- Recovery tools can’t actually repair fragments of video files, because they can only identify generic and superficial file features
- Video Repair tools are specialized. They are built to repair one type of videos only, for example Canon EOS 1080p24 or XDCAM 720p30.
- Video Repair tools identify video frames and audio blocks deep inside the file and re-index them into a playable video.
I would recommend to try using Treasured from aeroquartet.com to retrieve the formatted footage. Best of luck!

Try Hiren's Boot CD which contains a lot of freeware file recovery tools, including ones that provide deep scanning. You can run many of the utilities off the CD's menu without actually having to boot into it. Try that approach first.
You'll likely get "successful recovery" from multiple utilities. Copy each to a different file on other media for later comparison and analysis.
Cheers,
Francois
