Hi all,
I have a problem with the audio quality when converting files to an FLV format. The original and saved AVI, WMV, MPEG or MOV file plays and sounds fine. However, when I convert them to FLV, the audio sounds as if the person speaking is talking through a piece of aluminum foil. There is a high pitched background noise. The recording is of church sermon, and a Samsung videocam is used. After recording, I then download to either Cyberlinks "PowerDirector" or Windows "MovieMaker" for editing. The converters I have tried have been from: Format Factory, Prism, and Sothink ( all freeware). I have also tried adjusting the codecs and bitrates to no avail. I aml a novice so still learning.
Thanks for your feedback.
Patrick

Why specifically FLV? MP4 is easier to work with. You might even be able to remux the original audio and video into the container.
Pazera Video Converters Suite has a dedicated Video to FLV/SWF converter I can vouch for if you must use FLV.
If the video quality seems to suffer, manually enter a higher bitrate.Last edited by transporterfan; 15th May 2013 at 04:10.
