how do you put background music in a vcd or is it possible?

This is a strange question, are you saying the VCD has no audio at all ?.
Then if it has none, then you can add it to the mpeg with TMPGEnc Video input >AVI Audio input >WAV
However if your VCD already has audio, then you need to extract the audio and mix in your "background music" ? with www.goldwave.com
If your VCD is just pictures, you can add a sound track to each one ?? -
hehe sorry so bland.. i ment can you put in b/music in the menu..when the dvd starts the chapter menu comes in and plays music or a sound..
is it possible..?

Then drop the Mp3 onto your menu picture, tell it to play full lenght and loop...
