    Hi all,

I loaded the demo of Ulead DVD Picture Show and it worked fine. I bought the real program today and it DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.

Doing a VCD 2.0 or DVD press next and you get to the screen where you click to add slides. You have to select a source either "File" or UES slideshow.

It is completely blank there are no options in the drop down list box..

I can not find ANY technical support from Ulead at all. I think it is disgaceful that they release a demo that works and a final product that doesn't, and absoloutely NO email address or phone number or anything to get any assistance with what is obviously a defective program on their behalf.

  2. My boss ordered this software and it works fine.

If you bought it from Ulead, then get a refund, can it be more simple
than that ? You give no details on your problem, so I must admit
    something seems to be amiss.

    Cheryl-Anne,

Ulead seem to have a problem with version control. I bought version 1.0 yesterday. In desperation I went to their patch download page and donloaded patch2 which upgrades my software to version 1.0 (seems pointless)

    It worked!!

This leads to 2 obvious questions.

    a) If patch 2 upgrades to 1.0 what on earth was their previous commercial release?

    b) As I bought 1.0 and it doesn't work, why does upgrading it to 1.0 make it work......

Fortunately though it now works and is even better than the demo, totally awesome software, I would recommend it to anyone with the proviso that there appears to be NO support WHATSOEVER from Ulead.
