    I cannot get it to load a svcd/mpeg-2 so that i can insert menu etc

    mpeg/vcd works fine (yes i checked the svcd button)

    it appears to load for a few seconds then gives up
    but if i save a image is saved although that wont open after either

    Mpeg-2 is pal aspect 16:9

    smartripped > dvd2avi>TMPGEnc

    Use the MPEG tools under tmpgenc and do a quick reencode of the mpeg2, should only take a minute or two to reset the header (make a copy of the file first just in case)
