Ok,
I have a known working VCD(I made it, it works in my dvd player, and in my other pc's with win98).
I am trying to play it with WMP 6.4 on an NT 4 machine.
I cannot upgrade the NT4.
THe drive works, I can read data, wmp just reports that it cannot read the file.
Converting it to the hd is not an option.
Any suggestions to get a VCD to play on NT4?
(WMP7 does not say is supports NT4).

Youn need MPEG2 decoder to play svcd's.
Elecard MPEG2 Player comes with MPEG2 Decoder and make available to watch SVCD movies with any DirectShow - based player, say with MediaPlayer. And it works under NT 4.0
