Hi!
I just got a new ATI 8500 DV card. I've been trying for a week now to use it to capture directly to vcd/svcd. So far no luck!
I checked this site and saw the tutorials about vcd capturing with ATI's All-In-Wonder. Tried them all but still didn't get it to work properly.
Capturing seems to work fine and so does burning. Nero doesn't complain a bit with standard vcd option checked. But when I put the resulting disc in my DVD it's just aweful. Takes forever till the DVD plays it and then sound and video R completely off.
Is there possibly some difference in creating vcds for PAL as opposed to NTSC? Can anybody give me any pointers in that direction?
Thanks a lot!

Other than PAL VCD being 352x288 and NTSC VCD being 352x240, it should be pretty much the same (with the customary NTSC and PAL frame rates.Originally Posted by OnoSendaiAs Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor.
