  1. I have a problem with both CS3 of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. When my computer got fixed the tech upgraded my computer with Windows 7 and that came with it was Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro which I have been recently making videos for youtube with premiere pro and my new camcorder Sony DCR-SX45

I don't know if it is my files on my camcorder are causing this or if it is any file but with Adobe Premiere and AND After Effects I get the occasional flash of red through the rendered file.

It's ok for YouTube videos but I am going to be shooting a wedding in about a month. I need to get this resolved before I have to edit the wedding footage.

I'm assuming you now have Windows 7 64-bit. According to Microsoft's compatability listings, the CS3 versions of those programs don't have the green check mark of total approval for Windows 7. Adobe's advice is to upgrade to the latest version. Did you tell the tech to upgrade to Win7? You should sue. If that doesn't work, just kill him. No PC tech in his right mind would upgrade an OS without checking existing apps and hardware first. Sounds typical.

  4. I am shooting the wedding with 2 cameras one HD for wide shot and the camcorder I have for close up shots. I may have found a temp solution. I installed the AVS Editing Programs. It seems to work fine even with my camcorder. No Flashes but I will have to pay a membership fee to get the icon to disappear...
