hi every one i am looking for the answer to the following.. i have a sub box which is called blade 7000 hd. and i want to know if any one knows if it is PROTECTED BY HDCP?..because i want to buy a good hd capture card so i can record from my hd box. thanks

Check the manual. Call the manufacturer. Or hook up a display that doesn't support HDCP. But almost every cable and satellite box is protected by HDCP. The odds are very much against you.
