  1. I've converted quite a few films with TMPGEnc, mostly using sefys sevcd template to get more movie on 1 cd ( payback - 97 mins on a 80 min cdr! ). I'd like to add chapters. Using Ulead DVD Movie Factory it is a doddle, but it can only work with standard compliant vcd's, refusing to look at the sevcd mpeg's I have encoded. Which other program could I try? I've tried VCD Easy but can't get it to work with my writer for some reason ( mitsumi 4809 te ).

    Thanks in advance

  2. VCD Easy produces CUE/BIN images (as it is a GUI for VCDImager).

You can burn CUE/BIN images with a variety of programs:
    http://www.vcdimager.org/guides/burning_cuebin_images.html

The newest versions of Nero can burn CUE/BIN images properly too now.

  3. Thanks for the reply, vitualis, so are you saying make the chapters in VCD Easy, save as cue/bin file then use nero?

    cheers

  4. You can add chapters to both SeVCD/SxVCD using VCDEasy or TSCV (as vitualis said, both GUI's for VCDImager), but you can burn Bin/Cue files also with VCDEasy/TSCV (they are also a GUI for CDRDao), and also with these:

    BlindWrite Suite
    GoldenHawk CDRWin
    FireBurner
    Nero Burning-ROM (recommand 5.57x builds)

  5. You may try Roxio Video Pack Ver. 5.0.

    Essentially yes.

CDRDAO doesn't seem work on some systems/burners.

I wouldn't suggest Nero first (it historically has problems with CUE/BIN images and according to the vcdimager forum, there are still some rare problems now). CDRWin is a good choice as is BlindWrite.

However, if Nero works for you, then don't feel hesitant to use it.
