When trying to encode a video I get an error message in Simple X264 Launcher saying "there is no function named "Clense" (RemoveSpots.avsi, line 6). I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with Avisynth 32-bit. I'm using Avisynth MT as well. The Avisynth MT file is in C:\Windows\SysWOW64. I notice that Simple x264 Launcher is in 64-bit mode even though I'm using the 32-bit version of Avisynth. I can't imagine that's the problem as I can encode a video fine when not using RemoveSpots.
The strange thing is I'm using the exact same plugins (copied and pasted them to my new PC) as I was on my 32-bit Vista PC and RemoveSpots worked fine there without errors.
I've tried RemoveGrain 1.0b Beta, 1.0 PreRelease and RemoveGrainT-1.0 and they all give the same error. On this page it says if you get the clense error then install RemoveGrainT-1.0. I did that and got the same error.
I copied the following files into the plugins folder from RemoveGrain 1.0b Beta (making sure to delete any old versions first):
DenoiseSharpen.dll
RemoveGrainSSE2.dll
RepairSSE2.dll
RSharpenSSE2.dll
RemoveSpots was working on my old PC which had the following installed:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86 9.0.30729.17
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86 9.0.30729.4148
I installed those on my new PC apart from the bolded entry which I can't find anywhere on Google. I still get the same error saying "there is no function named Clense".

 I'm using the SSE2 versions of all those filters.

	Unless I'm missing something, that post says to try RemoveGrain 1.0b Beta. I already said I tried that and it didn't work. I tried it again and it still doesn't work. I used the SSE2 version of each filter of the beta and DenoiseSharpen

	Yes, I saw that you tried it already. But that post gave a link directly to a working version. Make sure you don't have another conflicting removegrain dll in the plugins folder.

	Thanks. I tried the version you gave me with that link and I don't have any conflicting removegrain.dll files but it's still not working.

	Oh, and because many people get confused, in VirtualDub use File -> Open Video File to open the AVS script, not File -> Run Script.

	I'm using Simple x264 Launcher. I've used it many times without problems. I just get the error mentioned in the 1st post and I don't know how to fix it.

	I'm not sure what I did but it's working now. Thanks Last edited by VideoFanatic; 21st Aug 2012 at 09:33.
