  1. Hey ladies and gents i have a bit of a problem. I have been using xenonmkv for all my mkv to mp4 conversions for the last few years with not one problem. However recently i ran into my first problem with a movie file not playing. The conversion goes through fine but when i check the properties of the file it says "file length 00:00." It will not play on vlc player, my xbox, nothing. So i will post the original mkv info and then the converted info below.

Note: the original mkv file works perfectly on vlc player but once converted to mp4 it does not. I am running on windows 7 64 bit service pack 1.

My version of xenonmkv is 20110301_39 (war59312)

Original mediainfo mkv file that works fine on vlc player:

Anyone notice the issue here??? And i like using xenonmkv when i want to convert mkv for playing on my xbox console since some of the other programs out there just offer more bells and whistles that i do not need. And xenon is quick and simple and keeps the great video quality with conversion. However if anyone knows of something more modern that is even better and simple than xenon let me know. I want something that will convert any type of mkv file ie. x264, h264 and convert the 6 channels to 2 for use on xbox. However this recent problem is making me reconsider since the conversion finished and said i had no error yet i obviously do....

  4. P.S. there are no codec packs in here that will mess up any other software im running on my pc correct? I have heard of people having issues when they have too many codec packs on a pc or something along those lines?
