I know that this has probably been covered somewhere on this forum but I'm a newbie. My problem is when I convert an AVI to MPG the size is larger than will fit on a single CDR. I've tried a couple of splitters and they seem to split the file fine. The problem is the first half will play fine and the second half won't or errors out when I try to view or burn it to CD. I don't mind using 2 cd's for my movies. I don't want to compress to fit.
Can someone suggest a program for splitting the MPG so I will have 2 usable files. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Try the cut and merge program built into TMPEG. You will find it on the File Menu and then MPEG tools. I have used this a couple of times and it seems to work OK.
The Jackal.
