    I have put home movies from tapes onto dvd's and now want to edit small bits out of it to add to photo slideshows. When I have tried previously I only see the audio files but no picture of the frames. Can anyone help me? I converted the home movie to mp4.

    How do you edit out the bits?

    You can use free tools like dvd shrink, avidemux, mpg2cut2 to cut out vob/mpg clips directly.
