Media Player ? ... do you mean a hardware device or software media player.

If you meant "Apocalypse Now" ... then yes if you like war type movie.

  4. Sorry...I wanted to know what the media player software was called. I know about Apocolypse Now...it is an excellent movie!

This front end for HTPC looks really nice and I have seen it before somewhere but I do not have a clue what it is called.

Is it simply Media Player? The add on for Windows Media Centre?

    Many thanks.

  5. If you would post the address (link) like Zoobie asked, it would allow the experts here to better answer your question.

  6. I would have but it was found in a posters thread on a well known website for downloading stuff and I imagine linking to it may be frowned upon.

If you're looking for a HTPC front end take a look at Media Portal and XBMC. I believe them to currently be the best options for HTPC software. There is are plugins for Media Portal that will give you a similar screen when playing movies, one such plug in is named "Moving Pictures".

I don't recognize the software, but XBMC has a number of skins available and even if this isn't one of them, there may be another one that you will like.
