Tool for producing a "teletype" effect ?

Is there a nice little tool out there (hopefully freeware) that can produce teletype-like text for me?

I only have sony vegas 6.0 and there's no such tool in there.

thanks. keyframing every letter looks time consuming. my block of text will be bigger than that.
