OK guys, firstly a big thank you as I've learnt a great deal through this forum already but be warned, newbie alert so apologies for any naivety! Ultimately I want to edit a home made music DVD by fading out both the sound & on the video, to black on certain tracks. I think the best way is to download the DVD onto my PC & use VirtualDub for the video & avisynth for the audio then rewrite to a DVD again. Am I going down the right path or is there a better/simpler way? Any feedback welcome as I am a complete novice at this.![]()

If you do not mind to spend, you can try this. You can do all kind of fades and do not have to split audio from video.
