Hello, I have a question about video editing. I would like to make a video which contains some sort of timeline about our vacations. My idea is to flash our first vacation and then the second and then the third, but faster and faster every time. Like Flash(our first vacation) Flash(our second) Flash(third) Flash Flash Flas Fla Fl F F F F, and then our honeymoon comes in fading over all these pictures. If someone can help me, I'd appreciate it a LOT!
P.S.: Maybe someone has a sound effect for this too?
I can work with iMovie and Final Cut Pro X
Thanks in advance,
freddiejos

Sounds like you want to use still photos so all you'd have to do is set the timing for each photo accordingly and then drop a transition (fade to black or white very quickly) between each photo.

And for some kind of sound effect? Where can I find a lot of sound effects?

Just search for "free sound effects" on Google. Lots of mp3's and other formats available. Probably want to convert the sound effect(s) to an uncompressed format; both iMovie & FCP (and everything else) prefer media in as uncompressed a format as possible. Makes it easier for playback and the final render to whatever delivery format you prefer.
