  1. Impression uses a two step process of building the DVD folders and then creating an image file. I have not been able to just use the VOBs out of the temp folders because there seems to be a lot of other folder and things that aren't normal. When I burn the image file with Prassi the disc works fine in my standalone. There is no Audio_ts folder on the disk, however. Will this cause problems in some players? I thought that a DVD always needed that folder even though it is empty. Should I bother to edit the image files?

  2. Audio_ts is a part of the DVD-specification but I never finde one on a Hollywood made DVD.

From the "lot of other" folders you should use only the Video_ts folder but I go for Image file all the time. VOB has a wizard to burn the dvd image file and it works well.
