    I recently re-installed ffmpegX. Originally, I had it installed on an external drive. Since then, the external drive died, so when I installed ffmpegX and tried to do a conversion, it asked me where was progress app? Since the progress app is long gone along with the external drive, is there any way to installed ffmpegX from scratch, including the binaries?

    Not sure why the app asks the question, but several users have had this issue before. And the fix is easy.
    Hint: check the "Similar Threads" below (Where is Progress.app).

    Figured it out myself. I deleted all pieces of ffmpegX, then downloaded it again. Added the binaries and ffmpeg, including the progress app, works perfectly now.
