    hi
    i have a 650mb cd-rw that i want to erase and then use it for a vcd , can anyone tell me how to go about erasing this cd-rw.

    Read the manual that came with your CDRW drive or the help file in a burning program.

    You didnīt say what kind of burningprogram you use.
    If you use Nero, just choose erase under burner

    Or if your using Cd Mate simply choose CD-RW Eraser
    Should take approx 30secs for a quick erase or 6 mins for full!

    Hi...

    Just wanted to pass along some info I got earlier on this forum about erasing CDRWs... use the FULL erase. If I do a quick erase and then burn a VCD I cannot play the CD in my DVD player (will play on the PC). If I do a FULL erase then my DVD player is happy...
