How to remove logo from an MP4 file?

Hi, I've just done a quick search and it seems that there are a lot of plug-ins out there which can do this job but only with VirtualDub and AVI files, so does anyone know I could do this with MP4 files also and what about other file formats like MPG, MKV, VOB or even FLV? Thanks a lot.

avidemux with the delogo filter.

or virtualdub with the directshow input plugin so you can open most formats.
