    I am a bit confused on how to use the software to correct the audio/video sync. Anyone have any good information they wanna share? Also, whenever i try to load in the .avi file when clicking on the "sync audio" tab, it says "that the pins are not connected". Please help!

    that tool died about 8 years ago. probably not going to work with current "avi" files.

    avidemux might work. open your video. leave video and audio on copy. make sure format is set to avi. under the audio configure and filters options is a check box for shift. but a check mark in the box and you can shift the audio foeward or back to try and sync them up. then save video to write your new file.
