mkvtoolnix split problem with LG BD370

Hi,
I have just used the mkvtoolnix to split a large mkv file. Everything seemed ok and played ok on my imac using vlc. But when I try and play the files on my blu ray LG BD370 player they dont work! It just seems to hang at time zero.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same prob. The thing is the web has so many different answers. My objective was to do a firmware update on the blu ray player, but then again i read somewhere it disables video playback from USB drive. So i have emailed LG to confirm that. I use this player for its USB, i think in the last 8 months i used the disk drive only two times. But i split my mkv files as well, and it seems to hang when starting the playback. I am still investigating the web and reviews.

Problem - MKV HD data file, when split / plitted/ splitting makes blu ray blu-ray player bd370 / bd 370 hang / hanging , freezes / non responsive. Problem resolving fix help needed, advise, advice, solution.

The line above may attract other people with the same problem when they google any of these words
If i my self finds a solution i will post something then.

Be sure to disable header compression in mmg / mkvtoolnix, File->Options->Disable header removal compression for audio and video tracks by default.

Hey Baldrick, it is quite late for me to respond as i lost two 1TB hdd disks due to bad quality hardware. (Samsung) :_(

So i have tested your suggestion and just wanna say thanks, it worked, my splitted Mkv files played all from dvd disk when i disable header removal from option on mkvtoolnix.
