Problem with vobsub 2.23

Hi! Everybody

Recently my vobsub 2.23 wan't load the subtitles automatically, only manually. The video file and the srt file have the same name except the extension, and when I play the video(xvid) on windows media player 11 the subtitles don't show up, the vobsub icon(green arrow) is dispalyed but the subtitles want load. I have to open Direct vobsub(auto-load version) and open the subtitles manually, then they appear on WMP11. This only started occurring recently, never had this problem before, don't know what could have happened. I've got xvid 1.3.0 codec and Divx codec installed.
Can anyone help.

Tried reinstalled it? Or try the newer vsfilter.

tried it, still the same thing, only loads manually.
